100days, day 2
Confession, I've tried to learn to draw a bunch of times. Using this very book a couple of times before, in fact. Shame.
Today was doing the final exercises in the shadow chapter. Apparently, negative space is easier to draw in some situations, especially this pile o' spoons. I found the opposite, it was difficult and resulted in a much worse picture. I think I need to reconsider my pile of construction lines to make life easier and to give me more points to anchor drawings to. Hm.
Learning.
Draw like a Boss is a good book and you shouldn't judge it by my attempts. I didn't join in the kickstarter for the second book because... I couldn't even finish the first one :(
