One of the biggest benefits I've gotten out of joining the indieweb is being able to add the indiewebring navigation to my website. I love jumping on my homepage and clicking next to see what other people are doing with their web genius. From tinkering, to massive encryption-safe communication programs, to their social and home lives. It's just nice to pop around like a virtual conference of talented, enthusiastic people and see just want neat things are happening.
