Maritime Museum visit
Last weekend my father and I took the weekend away to ourselves to just talk man stuff - our favourite bad puns and the like. Not wanting to go far we just booked a hotel nearby at Southbank, Brisbane so we could 'be away' but also not have to go far. We strolled around Southbank from one end to the other and ended up at the Maritime Museum. Now we had been told that the Museum had closed - but not true! It had shut down over Christmas and thanks to Covid it had less people and thus had to close off access to more areas for safety, but boy was there a lot of brilliant things to be seen there. Lots of steampunk inspiration. Unfortunately the steamship had been moved to another dock for repair work, however there were many other steamy delights to be had. Steam!
